The administrative and pedagogical architecture of My Schoolhouse, LLC is anchored by the extensive public and charter school expertise of its founder and Director, MyTrang Donahue. As a former public school educator, Director Donahue demonstrated early systemic leadership within the local district, serving as the primary committee member responsible for chartering and naming Everglades Elementary School.

Her deep institutional expertise expanded through her work with Cypress Trails Elementary School and Western Academy Charter School, where she specialized in the execution of the innovative Project CHILD (Changing How Instruction Delivers) instructional matrix. During a benchmark regional educational convention, Director Donahue’s dual-institutional leadership resulted in Western Academy Charter School securing First Prize and Cypress Trails securing Second Prize in a premier academic competition. Simultaneously, she co-led the executive leadership conference alongside the Cypress Trails Principal, delivering strategic implementation data directly to regional principals and the founder of the Project CHILD system.

My Schoolhouse, LLC was not built on a corporate whiteboard; it grew organically from the love, trust, and demands of our students and families. Founded in 2010 as an elite tutoring, academic counseling, and intensive clinical support facility in Palm Beach County, our results spoke for themselves. As local families watched their children's confidence skyrocket and their anxiety melt away under our care, they began asking for something more. They wanted a permanent escape from the crowded, one-size-fits-all default school system.

Responding directly to this community mandate, My Schoolhouse scaled its operational framework into a full-time, state-approved private school in 2023. We pioneered an innovative four-day academic schedule (operating Tuesday through Friday) designed to optimize cognitive learning, allow for deep practical application, and protect precious family co-regulation over a three-day weekend.

Our advanced curriculum is anchored by a sophisticated, proprietary infrastructure protected by two active copyrights and two federal trademarks. These include our official corporate logo and the trademarked logo for QuickNotes RRPS, a specialized educational system designed to target Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Rather than utilizing default, rote-memorization grids, our pedagogical framework relies heavily on metacognition—systematically teaching children how to think, analyze, and process data independently, rather than what to think.

The STEAM-B Framework, Financial Literacy, & National Awards

My Schoolhouse proudly pioneered the advanced STEAM-B framework (Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Business Mathematics). The curriculum explicitly treats business mathematics and entrepreneurial strategy as foundational core disciplines:

• The Micro-Economy Reward Matrix: The facility operates an internal micro-economy driven by physical "Monopoly currency" token rewards. This currency regulates financial transactions between teachers and students, as well as peer-to-peer commerce.

• Real-Time Economics & Risk Management: Through this live economic framework, our students learn the empirical mechanics of financial literacy, wealth management, contract negotiation, mediation, and professional networking in real-time.

• Partnership & Financial Risk Analysis: We train our students to calculate financial risk management, evaluate corporate partnerships, and execute business logic before they leave the primary grades.

 

The exceptional real-world efficacy of this framework is explicitly validated by our students' multi-year track record of securing top honors across county, state, and national writing, poetry, and classical penmanship competitions. Our most celebrated institutional milestone includes receiving the prestigious Diamond Award from the Zaner-Bloser Textbook Publishing Organization in recognition of a My Schoolhouse student winning the absolute State Championship for cursive penmanship. Over the past sixteen years, our deep-seated roots in the Royal Palm Beach community have been recognized with multiple local Educational Excellence Awards spanning 2019, 2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025.
